Chapters are encouraged to participate in the NMDP Chapter Challenge: Alphas Save Lives, a national opportunity to support blood stem cell donor education, awareness, and recruitment. Participating chapters will compete by hosting a short 30-minute educational session and helping encourage non-Alpha participants to learn more about NMDP and join the registry. The top six performing chapters will each receive a $1,000 grant, with additional VISA gift cards awarded to 7th, 8th, and 9th place chapters. Chapters must add a minimum of 30 new donors to be eligible for grant awards.
